Tell us why you chose the Hamptons.
Brendan Monaghan: The Hamptons can be whatever you want it to be. My Hamptons is pretty relaxed and consists of seeing friends, drinking great wine, and eating great food in a beachy, fun environment.
Mark Herman: Typically when we are out in the Hamptons we hang poolside, grill out and relax. I am a big runner, so I tend to get my beach fix on my morning runs along the water. It's the perfect time to enjoy the ocean before all the crowds get there.
Where are your favorite spots for social sun?
BM: We love getting together at Wölffer Vineyards with friends for wine and cheese. If it's a rainy day, nothing is better than Italian at Sant Ambroeus in Southampton. For lunch outside, we love Dopo La Spiaggia in Sag Harbor and East Hampton Grill is our go-to for dinner in East Hampton.
MH: We spent a lot of time last summer in Sag Harbor, so we like to go back to some of our favorites there. The American Hotel for a lobster club sandwich and Aperol spritz al fresco is one of my favorite stops. We also love to have sunset cocktails and dinner on the water at Le Bilboquet—it's always a scene and we love bumping into friends from all over. For a more relaxed vibe on a Sunday night, Moby's East Hampton has reggae night on the water. Great music, rum punches, and a less hectic Hamptons scene to close out the weekend.
Where do you go to relax in the sun?
BM: We love watching the water at places like Egypt Beach or Georgica Beach in East Hampton. We enjoy several beaches in Southampton as well—they are so spectacular!
MH: I run almost every morning. It allows me to explore Southampton beach spots like Cryder, Gin and Little Plains while they are pristine and quiet.
